Ja'net -- as many women did back in the day, particularly women of color who could more readily get away with it -- lied about her age from early on and for all the decades afterwards. Given that she was married in 1950 and had 4 children over the decade (in some reports longer) marriage to Sajit Gupta, she wasn't born in either 1945 nor in the also-claimed 1938. (More credibly she likely was born circa 1933 having -- much like Natalie Shaeffer from Gilligan's Island -- shaved off 12 years from her actual age in order to get certain parts/what-have-you by pretending to be younger, even when playing someone ostensibly in their 40s as Willona was on Good Times.) Regardless, she was fantastic in the part and definitely did an iconic job with the theme to the Jeffersons.

The feeling of absolute loss watching the buildings fall live on TV was like nothing I'd ever known. You knew you were watching thousands of people die. And the sky was just clear blue. A clear blue day & such a dark, horrible thing happening. It was something you remember forever. 😪

After 14 minutes of him talking about him and everything else but what he was being interviewed to talk about they finally manage to try and bring him back to the twin towers. Yet it is again himself he talks about. He's on the water more than anyone, He still doesn't talk about the twin towers. He talks about politics and praises his orange god. He spends his whole where was I on 9/11 talking about everything but 9/11 and it's clear to see it's because he was stuck in CA so he's not interesting in actually talking about that day because he can't make it all about him and how he was dodging bullets and being an advocate for the military.

I didn't care for Geraldo Rivera to begin wit but after watching 6:04 seconds of this I had to stop it because I needed a break from his me, me, me commentary. I didn't like how he mentioned being in this place, this place and this place in the Middle East and "every crap hole in between". That definitely highlighted his bigorty and racism that has only gotten worse over the years. He talks of himself as if he is a hero and sacrificed so much. Poor Geraldo had to sacrifice so much and get rid of his house in Malibu. I also don't like how they call his assignments in war areas that he threw a hissy fit to be able to go, deployments as if they in any way compare to the men and women who were being sent over there to die. "I've lost so many airmen, soldiers, sailors, marines" You've lost? He is just the victim isn't he. He even thinks he is a victim because he wasn't allowed to get behind a camera on 9/11. He spends more time talking of the announcment of Bin Laden being killed than on actual 9/11. He barely talks about 9/11 because that isn't interesting or talkworthy for him because he wasn't involved by being on the air. He is disgusting. He een has the nerve to talk about HIM spending 10 years chasing Bin Laden. He somehow made that all about him. "What happened to me" on 9/11? He was the acvocate for our military? I guess he is his own hero

I happen to be in the air that day from Florida back to California. We got forced down at Stapleton international Airport in Denver somewhat still in disbelief to this day.

I heard Mickey Rooney interviewed in his old age. It was kind of sad. He was asked if he had to do over again what he would do differently and he said “I don’t even believe people when they say they wouldn’t do anything differently. If I had my life to live over again, I would still wear ties, absolutely everything else I would do differently “I feel like that too. Only since I’m female, I guess I would say I would still wear dresses.

One thing ive noticed avout new york even though ive never been. As cutthroat as the city may seem, they take care of their own. Especially on a day like this. Everywhere ive gone for videos or people ive talked to that was there during 9/11, everyone was helping everyone. When it comes down to it, thats really what humanity is. You dont know them, they dont know you, but you help each other anyways. Rip to all the people that lost their lives that day and god bless to the people who showed just how human they are and helped whoever they could.

Jack's acting is still some of my favorites. He always had a lot of passion, drive, when talking (and acting!). I miss him.

As a kid, I thought he was real foreigner. That accent in "Cop" was excellent. Its the classic phrase: there's no small parts just small actors.

More than Sinatra, Lewis, Martin, Doris Day, she did it all and is supremely overlooked as a titan of the industry.

She looked so different between Maude and the Golden Girls. This one she's looking frail to a point but looks just like the golden girl era. Saw her interviewed in Auckland NZ and she looked very different again but gaunt. I was shocked. Loved her career or needed to keep working, I don't know? Not too long after (a year?), she has died. Sad about smokers. She was a great talent and person.

I am convinced the reason this interview is hard to understand is not because of klugman's voice post surgery. It is because of a technical issue either the microphone was too close or there's some kind of digital digitizer distorting the sound. I've seen many interviews with Klugman post-surgery and there was never a digitized reverberation in the background. This appears to be the only interview. so the fact that it's hard to understand is not due to Klugman but it's due to technical issues, not klugman's voice.

I remember this well, a time when the country was united. Now two decades later our country has never been more divided. People want one of their own leaders executed just because they are your political opponent. We need to reunite as a country once again.

I'm telling you, the folks who put these guideline disclamer up are the ones who most need for truth to be inserted and sustained in their midst.

Why did you edit this video posthumously? It ought to be preserved as a remnant of Papa's life and his using it as an opportunity to connect. It need to be marked, married with a reminder of his being dead now and its implications. It's not like proper honor was paid him life. This is one of the pieces that help bridge the gap, and one of the only such pieces that was posted immediately after being produced. You can't dishonor that, too, by pretending retroactively that such was not the case.
